When I experienced Oktoberfest in Munich, what captivated me wasn’t the beer — it was the atmosphere. Long communal tables. Live music without interruption. Thousands of people fully present with one another. It was immersive, joyful, and intentional.
When we decided to bring Oktoberfest to Waco, it had to be done with excellence. We sent our event team to Germany to study the details firsthand. We invested in a custom-built, 1,000-person tent designed to transport you the moment you step inside and assembled a team of seasoned professionals to ensure it meets the standard our city deserves.
Too often, Waco is underestimated.
Oktoberfest Waco — like Startup Waco — exists to demonstrate what’s possible here: drawing our community together, raising the standard for civic experiences, and strengthening the entrepreneurial future of our city.
